Show Watercolor Exhibits Enthusiastically Received by Art Fans The one-man arc exhibit of Grant Wright, former Cedar City resident, which was scheduled for one day, was so enthusiastically enthusiastic-ally received by friends and art lovers, that it was continued for the week. The exhibit was sponsored spon-sored by the Cedar City Art Committee Com-mittee and Dr. Reed W. Farns-worth, Farns-worth, chairman, announced that the exhibit was moved from the Insitute of Religion to the lobby of the Southern Utah Power company, com-pany, where it will temain until the end of the week. Many people called at the Institute In-stitute during Sunday afternoon and evening, and were well pleased with the works of this promising young aiUst. Mr. Wright, who now resides in Los Angeles, exhibited about 25 water colors, dealing with a wide range of subjects. Included were a number of interesting water scenes of the Pacific coast line, farm and ranch scenes with a California background, and several scenes from ihe southern Utah area. |
