Show Softball Association Elects Next Year's Officers In a meeting held by the Cedar City Softball Association at El Escalante hotel Thursday evening, eve-ning, Sept. 3, Ad Anderson was elected president to serve during the 1954 league season. Also elected at the meeting, which was under the direction o! Morgan Slack, immediate past piesident, was O. D. Hole as vice piesident. Mr. Slack will automatically auto-matically become a board mem- her to complete the organization. A secretary and treasurer will be chosen by the president to serve duiing his administration. Each year the election of office? offi-ce? s for the Softball Association is held shortly after the completion comple-tion of the league season and the Southern Utah Softball tournament tour-nament so that the incoming president will have the winter months to organize for the com-!'ig com-!'ig season. Outgoing officers, who have served during the past year, are: Mr. Slack, president; James Hoyle Jr, vice president; Ralph Tho-rms, Tho-rms, as a member of the board o directors, and Dee Cowan as secretary-treasurer. |
