Show Railroad Makes Film On Import, Utilization of Grass For the home owner and the stock raiser alike, Union Pacific Railroad is today releasing a 15-minute, 15-minute, sound-color motion picture pic-ture on grass. Joe W. Jarvis, supervisor of the railroad's agricultural' development de-velopment department at Omaha, said that the 16 millimeter film, the company's ninth in a series of agricultural motion pictures, shows and tells a story on the importance of grass and was prepared pre-pared to encourage its proper utilization. Entitled "Blades of Green," it depicts how the western states produce a large volume of the nation's grass and seed requirements. require-ments. Jarvis said that a total of 75 prints of the film are available upon request to Union Pacific Agricultural development department depart-ment at Omaha or to the state agricultural college film libraries in the states served by the railroad. |
