Bath has been known as a fashionable watering place for centuries, although it reached the peak of its popularity in Georgian Georgi-an times. The Romans first discovered the natural hot springs and their Baths are still to be seen in an excellent state of preservation. Mrs. Sorenson and Miss Pond toured the Roman Baths and other places of interest during their stay in the city. |
