Show I HAPPENINGS IN PARAGONAH By Nora Lund Exchange Vows 1 One of our most popular-yeuag-ladies, Miss Doris McBride, exchanged ex-changed marriage vows Monday evening with Mr. DaJlen Williams Wil-liams of Henderson, Nev. A. R. McBride gave his daughter in marriage at the McBride home, with Bishop Victor R. Robinson reading the ceremony. Mrs. Helen Barton attended her sister as ma. tron of honor, while Marlow Williams Wil-liams stood as best man for his brother. Nieces of the bride, Lorraine Lor-raine Mosdell, Kathy Orton, and Debbie Barton, made, lovely little lit-tle flower girls. Those present of the groom's family were his .mother, Mrs. Juanita WiUlams, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Williams, Carl WiUlams, Juana Lee Blackburn, Clark Williams, Wil-liams, Carmelia Hughes and Lcn-na Lcn-na Berry. Of the bride's family were her father, A. R. McBride, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Dailey, Mr. and Mrs. Clark L. Orton, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Barton, and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Mosdell and their families. Mr. Williams' Is a native of Ka. narraville, but the family has made a home in Henderson, Nev., for the past few years. He is currently cur-rently attending C S U In Cedar City. Mrs. Williams Is a graduate gradu-ate of P H S and Parowan Seminary, Sem-inary, where she was very popular popu-lar In musical circles. A Silver Gleaner of the Parajronah Ward, she had acted as organist for the MIA and the Junior Sunday School for a number of years. They will make a home In Paragonah for the present. The family plans a wedding reception in June honoring the newlyweds. Reception Held Mr. and Mrs. Verdell Robinson of Magna were honored Saturday evening In the school auditorium auditor-ium at a wedding reception. Greeting the many guests besides be-sides the young couple were their parents, Mr. and Mrs'. Gilbert Robinson and Mrs.1 Patterson. Dee Cander, a brother-in-law, was master of ceremonies, announcing announc-ing the program: Vocal numbers, num-bers, Wm. T Davenport, Iris Jones, Ted Barton, Jerry and Brent Conder; reading, Alice Robinson; dance numbers, Mina and LaRae Lamoreaux; accordion accor-dion music, Kenneth Topham, Heber Lund and Duane Lamoreaux; Lamor-eaux; saxophone and piano duet, Hazen Jean Robinson and Wil-ma Wil-ma Lamoreaux, and piano solo, Laura Lamoreaux. Mrs. Eram Lamoreaux, Ruby and Ivy Robinson arranged the gifts. Friends of the groom had the serving In charge. Victor Smith was proud to bring his wife, Betty, and their new son, RonaJd L. home from tha Iron County Hospital on Wed- nesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Johnson of Parowan were here Sunday to witness the christening of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Ron-ald Robinson. Mrs. Bell Edwards of West-wood, West-wood, Calif., Jeft for her home Thursday after spending a week In town, having come to attend the funeral services of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Anita McBride. Mr. and Mrs. Revere Robinson are rejoicing" over the arrival of a new grandson, who put in his appearance at the Iron County Hospital Monday night. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Robinson of Parowan are the fifth time parents. Clifford and Eugene Robb and Gerry Thornton of Salt Lake City I spent the week end here with their families. Miss Pat Robb came up from Hurricane last week to see her father. La Grand Robb and other relatives. Edwin Williamson has returned return-ed home for the summer from Las' Vegas, Nev., where he has spent the past two months with his son Glen and family. Orton and family of Phoenix, Ariz, returned re-turned to their home after attending at-tending the funeral for Mrs. Or-ton's Or-ton's mother, Mrs. Anita McBride. Mrs. Eva Bell of Pangultch is visiting here with her daughter, Mrs. Grant Jones. Mrs. Carmen Topham Is home from the Iron County Hospital where she went for treatment after a bout with the flu and complications.
