Show Conservation Projects Tour Slated for j Interested Farmers ! All interested farmers are invited in-vited to attend a short tour of water conservation practices be-Hit! be-Hit! carried out in the Cedar Valley Val-ley area Wed., May lt. Those Interested In-terested should meet at the west promptly at 10 a.m. ! The first stop of the tour wUl be at the first water diversion 'structure be low the I'o.u hock I Uridge. From there the water j diversion structures below Ray's Cafe will be observed along with an explanation of the participants partici-pants in the building of these structures. The next stop will be ;at the east extension irrigation j company's storage pond, where an explanation of the conven-! ience, efficiency, and water sav-' ing features of this storage pond as well as the concrete ditches in connection with It wlU be made. The group will then visit ,the Mid-Valley Pump Company' I wells and observe the concrete, ditch lining projects being used i in that area. The final stop of the tour will be at the Grim-shaw Grim-shaw ditch along the Mid Valley Road. Those sponsoring the tour arei the Iron County Extension Ser- j vice, the V. S. SoU Conservation. Service. The Iron County Agricultural Agri-cultural Stabilization arid Conservation Con-servation Committee, and the T'nn County Soil Conservation District. Representatives' of these Troops and Individual farmers-iwncs farmers-iwncs will explain the planning, plan-ning, costs, and participating "roups for each project.
