Buddy Toppy Day as Saturday.! May 12 and asks the aid of all citizens to help put this drive over. Give a dime or what you wish for a poppy. We must not forget our crippled crip-pled veterans and what they have done for us. They have made these popples we will sell and they have faith In you and your buying them. The money received wUl help them enjoy, if they can, some amusement while they are shut In. We of the Auxiliary would like to make clear to the citizens of the community Just where the proceeds of the Buddy Poppy Sale go. They will be spent exclusively exclusive-ly for veterans welfare purpose in line with these three basic VFW objectives: 1. To provide aid and assistance assist-ance on the community level to needy veterans and their families. fam-ilies. 2. To maintain and expand the state and national service and rehabilitation facilities being sponsored by VFW. 3. To support and maintain the Nation Home at Eaton Rapids, Mich., for the orphans of veterans. veter-ans. More than two-thirds of the proceeds' of the Annual Poppy Sale stay right In this community commun-ity to be used for local veteran welfare work. The VFW.
