Chamber-Sponsored Information Booth Eyed Each year as the tourist season sea-son opens the Chamber of Commerce Com-merce of Cedar City begins preparations prep-arations for the opening of the tourist Information booth on the city park ground adjacent to Main Street. This year, with the tourist season sea-son fast approaching, the Chamber Cham-ber of Commorce has expressed a desire to have interested cl!i- jzens who would like to work in ithe booth apply at the chamber offices at 103 North Main Street. ! When these applications have been revived the b ard of directors direct-ors will screen them and offer the positions at the booth to the j m;st feasible candidates. I In addition, the Chamber of , Commerce, according to EUlcn Yergensen, president, Is interest ed in repairing and repainting the sign that was recently de-(faced de-(faced at the south entrance to I the city. The board has asked anyone Interested In doing this J repair work or anyone also Interested In-terested In construction of addi-I addi-I tional outdoor advertising signs, j to get in touch with the executive execu-tive secretary at the offices on ! Main Street. J It is the hope of tht board of directors, that in addition to the I repairing of existing outdoor signs that more signs can be j erected to boost Cedar City to the traveling public.
