Show MIA Hallowe'en Parties Held ROOSEVELT WARD The Roosevelt ward MIA held a Hallowe'en party Tuesday of last week in the stake recreation hall. A Large group of enthusiastic people peo-ple of Mutual age, participated, enjoying en-joying the games and dancing, which were under the direction of Mrs. Keith Winterton, sports director. Appropriate decorations added to the atmosphere, as well as the serving table, which was centered with a lighted Jack o'Lan-tern, o'Lan-tern, accented by lighted tapers. The party was in charge of the activity counselors, Mrs. Theron Leavitt and Bill Stal'ey. SECOND WARD Last Thursday evening a large group assembled at the stake house for the Second ward Hallowe'en Hal-lowe'en party. Main events of the evening were a spook alley and progressive games. THIRD WARD Hallowe'en fun reigned supreme Monday night when the Third ward MIA staged a highly successful party under the direction of the activity counselors, Mrs Irma Sutteer Sut-teer and Woodrow Neilson. Prizes for the best costumes went to Blaine Gardner, who was dressed as a baby, and to Mary Andrus, dressed as a Japanese. Cider and doughnuts made a fitting climax for the event. FOURTH WARD After traveling through the weird spook alley, members of the Fourth ward MIA enjoyed games at their annual Hallowe'en party, held Tuesday evening at the stake house. Original hats were made by the classes, with Beverly Neilson Neil-son winning the prize for the best creation. Popcorn balls and apples were served to top off the Hallowe'en Melba Bolton, activity counselor, helped to arrange the party, assisted as-sisted by Clair Hollingsworth, who was in charge of the games. |
