It was in the fall- of 1946 when McKinlay Motor started in the building now occupied by Ottosen Ot-tosen Sales & Service and Buchan an Feed Co. Doug came from Richfield where he had been associated as-sociated with his brothers and father, having only recently been released from the service at that time. The McKinlays are a Chev family. fam-ily. His father, Arch and brother, O. R., still operate in Richfield, and another brother, Chris, is the Chev dealer in Vernal'. Doug served ser-ved on the new dealers' planning board for Utah, Nevada, Idaho and Colorado at one time. He has been selling Buicks for nearly six years. They moved to their present building build-ing in 1950.
