Show Mrs. Garda Seeley Received 4-H Club Awards The following girls received their 4-H achievement awards on Wednesday night: June Powell, Carma Atwood, Carolyn Goodrich, Jane Seeley, LaRee Larsen, Jeanne Seeley, Jean Remington. Mary Lee Lisonbee, Rosie Bird, Phyllis Powell Pow-ell and Dian Thomas. Also the girls' leaders, Mrs. Lois Goodrich and Mrs. Carma Mathews, were present. HOME FROM SCHOOL Boyd Goodrich, who is teaching school at Salem, spent the weekend week-end here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Goodrich. He brought as his guests, Miss Barbara Buckley, Julia Winter and Miss Vera Curtis, of Provo. Others 'from the B.Y.U. home for the weekend with their parents were Marilyn JeJnnings, Kent Remington, Dal Seeley, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Duke and JoAnn Goodrich Mr. and Mrs. Carl DeVries and two children, of Ogden, spent part of the deer hunting season here with Mr. and Mrs. Claud Mathews. On Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Mathews and Mr. and Mrs. DeVries visited at Bonanza with Mr. and Mrs. Bus Mathews. Fred Goodrich left on 'Monday for Salt" Lake City to attend an A.S.C. meeting. While there he will receive medical treatment. ' Mr. and Mrs. LaVar Laver, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Lee Lisonbee. ATTEND CONFERENCE A large crowd went to Mt. Emmons Em-mons on Saturday evening and Sunday .to attend quarterly conference. con-ference. The visiting speaker from Salt Lake City was Antoine R. Ivins. HALLOWE'EN PARTY A Hallowe'en party was held on Monday evening for all the ward at the ward hall. Goblins, witches, ghosts, and all characters were there, that make a Hallowe'en party a lot of fun. A spook alley, dancing and a program followed by serving moon cookies and witches' brew to all present. Prizes were given to the best costumes, Carma Atwood, Carolyn Goodrich, Daphine Lisonbee, Donald Remington Reming-ton and Sharon Berrett |
