Show MYTON WARD HAS HALLOWE'EN PARTY The Mutual Improvement Association Asso-ciation Hallowe'en party drew a large crowd to the Myton L.D.S. chapel Tuesday evening. Mrs. Dona Wardle and Russell Gingell activity activi-ty counselors, were in charge. Games and a clever program were prepared under the direction of Mrs. Renae Hancock. Dancing furnished fur-nished entertainment with prizes for outstanding costumes awarded to Loryn Ross and Rlynn Anderson. Ander-son. Refreshments were served to about 90 members and guests. This is an annual event and is always greeted with enthusiasm as the pleasure is accented by the clever decorations and added attractions. DINNER GUESTS Dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Todd, Sunday, were Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wing, of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry Gen-try of Myton, Mrs. Robert Smith and two daughters of Hanna, Mrs. Georgia Zufelt and daughter, of Provo. Visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs. Carlos Clark from Thursday 'till Saturday were Mr and Mrs. Marion Valarida and son, Theron, of West Stayton, Oregon. Mrs. Valarida is a sister of Mr. Clark. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Nielson and four daughters, of Salt Lake City, were visitors last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Loyal Perry. Mr. Nielson is Mrs. Perry's brother and a former resident of this district. dis-trict. Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Hancock are enjoying a visit from their nephew, Glenn Lloyd, who came from Taft, Calif, to join the family fam-ily in the annual deer hunt. Weekend visitors at the home of Mr and Mrs. W. E. Broome were their daughter, Mrs. Owen Jakeman of Salt Lake City, their grandson, Harry Jakeman and wife and small daughter, who came from Kearns for a short visit. Other Oth-er visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Bywater and 2 children of Salt Lake City, who also visited vis-ited at the home of Mr. Bywater's sister, Sarah By-water. Mrs. By-water By-water is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Broome. Ray Ortega, a former Myton resident, res-ident, is visiting at the home of his father-in-law, Felix Quintana. He was enroute to his home in Idaho from a visit in Colorado. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Wing, of Ogden, former Myton residents, were greeting old friends during their weekend visit at the ranch home of Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry Gen-try While here they had the opportunity op-portunity to be present at the Golden Wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. James Giles. SUCCESSFUL HUNT As the deer hunting season, draws to a close, many lucky hunters hunt-ers are bringing in their deer. The smaller, 2-point, seems to be pre-dominant, pre-dominant, but many were proudly showing theii 4-point specimen of the hunting season. There are a number of hunters who have not yet returned from the hunt and it is expected the kill, will be enlarged en-larged when they report with their deer. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Giles and family, who came for their parents' par-ents' Golden Wedding anniversary, are enjoying a week's visit with members of the family, expecting to return to Othello, Wash, later this week. FRACTURES FOOT Word was jeceived that Dean Peterson suffered a fractured foot at his home in Taft, Calif, and was unable to participate in his yearly visit to Myton, where he usually joined family members in the deer hunt. |
