Show Boy Scoot Court Of Honor Set For Sunday One of the most colorful Court of Honors ever staged by the Roosevelt District Advancement Committee will become a reality Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m. in Gusher, it was announced today by Sharon Cummings, district advancement ad-vancement chairman. Official presentation of a beautiful beau-tiful painted buckskin to the troop of post winning last year's District Dis-trict Advancement contest will highlight the interest of the event. Listed as one of the top awards of this Court of Honor will be when David Diderickson, Explorer from Post 2750, receives Ms Silver Explorer award highest in the Explorer program. Several troops and posts will be present to try to capture the first ribbon of the month in the 1955-56 1955-56 Advancement Contest. One such ribbon will be presented to the outstanding troop and another to the outstanding post for the scouting scout-ing completed during the month ending Sunday at 3 p.m. Scouts, Explorers parents and friends of scouting are encouraged to be present for this outstanding event, concluded Mr. Cummings. j |
