Starting I salary is $7,800. i i i Gale Wilson Gets City Manager Post In California News reached Roosevelt this week of another hometown boy who has made good in his chosen field, when the report came from Buena, Park, Calif., that Gale Wilson Wil-son had been appointed city manager man-ager of Fairfield, Calif. For the past two years Gale', who is the son of Seth Wilson of Roosevelt, has served as assistant city manager of Buena Park, which is a suburban of Los Angeles An-geles City. In announcing the appointment ap-pointment of Gale as manager of the Northern California city of 11,000, the Buena Park News, daily newspaper, paid him a fine tribute, as a capable and efficient man who had done an outstanding outstand-ing job for their city as assistant manager. A graduate of the Brigham Young University in 1953, Gale holds a B.S. degree in political science. He went to the University of Southern California the following follow-ing year, specializing in city' management man-agement While attending USC, Gale was awarded a research as-, sistantship. He has completed' all the requirements for his masters degree. While attending the BYU Gale took time out to fill a 2-year mission mis-sion for the LDS church in Canada. Can-ada.
