Show : Republicans Plan County, Area Meetings In March An official call is being made this week to members of the Republican Re-publican party in Duchesne County, Coun-ty, for their monthly reorganization reorganiza-tion convention, to be held at Duchesne Du-chesne on Friday, March 23, at 2 p.m., in the courthouse. According to Kenneth Aycock, chairman of the GOP Central committee, com-mittee, all precinct organization meetings must be held on or before be-fore Saturday, March 17. At these district meetings a new chairman, vice-chairman, which is a woman, secretary-treasurer, and delegates to the county confab, are to be elected. The county caucus will select a chairman to succeed Mr. Ay-cock, Ay-cock, (unless he is re-elected), a vice-chairman, which is Mrs.' Manila Man-ila Madsen of Duchesne, and a secretary - treasurer, a position held by Mrs. Howard Harrison before be-fore she moved to California. An official meeting notice found elsewhere in this issue of the' Uintah Uin-tah Basin Record and' Roosevelt Standard, designates the number of delegates to be chosen from the various voting districts. Assignment of a keynote speaker speak-er for the county convention will be made in the near future 'by the' state 'central committee, Mr. Ay-cock Ay-cock announced. Uintah County will be holding their county convention con-vention the same day as Duchesne County. |
