HOWARD STEVENS Funeral services were held last Friday at 11 a.m. in the Naples chapel at Vernal for Howard Stevens, 87, father of Orson Stevens. He died Monday, August 3, at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Don Sadlier, of Vernal. Burial was in Manti last Saturday. Satur-day. He is survived by the following follow-ing sons and daughters: Verne Stevens, South Dakota; Ethel Mower, Provo; Orson Stevens, Roosevelt; Howard Stevens, of Springville; Chester and Orin Stevens, California; Esther Stevens, Ste-vens, Salt Lake City; and Stella Sadlier, Vernal. Mr. Stevens resided in Rand-lett Rand-lett for many years before moving mov-ing his family to Manti. Since his wife died several years ago. he has made his home with his children.
