Show Myton Is Proud Of UBIC Winner Myton is justly proud of our 'Teen-Age UBIC Talent Show winner, Miss Faye Robinson, who was selected as winner of that division. Miss Robinson presented pre-sented a reading which was received re-ceived with much applause. The young Miss is indeed talented. She is a student of Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer Hom-er Robinson. Visitors Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Giles were Mrs. Pete Peterson and 2 children, of Provo. Mrs. Peterson Peter-son resided in Myton during her childhood, well known to her many friends as Joyce Stone, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Stone. Mr. Peterson and a group of Boy Scouts spent the day on a hike near Hanna, while his wife and children visited friends in the Basin. Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Harris attended at-tended the wedding reception in Arcadia Monday evening honoring honor-ing Mr. and Mrs. Howard R. Mathews. Mrs. Mathews is the former Shirley Zirker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Zirker. ARE VISITING HERE Mrs. Lydia Peatross has been enjoying a visit from her daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carlos Roberts and family, of Provo, who came for a two weeks' vacation. While here they also visited in Duchesne at the home of Mrs. Roberts' brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peatross. T he group also participated in a fish, ing trip to the Grandaddy lakes. Visitors last week at the Matt Uresk ranch home were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kotulski and children, chil-dren, who came from Chicago, 111. to surprise Louis Uresk, who is a student of North-western Dental College in Chicago. Louis is home for his summer vacation and was very happy to greet his Chicago friends. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nielson, of Ojai, Calif., are visiting Bill's mother, Mrs. Lydia Nielson. They are on a two weeks' vacation vaca-tion and also visited Mrs. Nielsen's Niel-sen's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Partridge in Duchesne, while in the Basin. Mrs. Del Combs, of Talmage, and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hart, of Duchesne, were visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. James Dalgleish, Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Harmon went to Clearfield, Friday, for a few days visit, returning home Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Guy Judd and two sons, of Salt Lake City, returned re-turned home Sunday after a week's visit at the home of Mr. Judd's brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Judd. They enjoyed a fishing trip to Paradise Lake while here. Mr. and Mrs. John Krissman, of Helper, are visiting at the Rudy Krissman home to assist Rudy while his wife is attending attend-ing the summer session at the B.Y.U. at Provo. Mrs. Krissman came horne for the weekend, returning re-turning to Provo early Monday morning. |
