Show Authorities Nab Quartet In Auto Robberies Three men and one women were apprehended in Roosevelt Sunday, Aug. 9 at 2 p.m. about a mile west of Roosevelt on Highway No. 40, who' were driving driv-ing a black 1949 Mercury automobile au-tomobile that had been stolen in Denver. One of the men was a soldier who was AWOL from the Lowery Air Force base in Denver. Picked up by Roosevelt Police Chief Roe McDonald, were, Miss Mariam Feldt, 22, who' gave her address as Court Hotel, Denver. Donald R. Pottuff, 22, AWOL since June 16, Lowery Air Force Base, Denver; Donald Edward Ed-ward Wilson, 27, Renton, Wash., and Danny Ryan, 21, Denver. In addition to the '49 Mercury they were driving, they admitted admit-ted had been stolen in Denver along with a Conoco credit check book, which they were using to a good advantage in purchasing gas and oil, the quartet told officers of-ficers they had stolen two other cars in Denver, which were abandoned when they picked up the Mercury-Local Mercury-Local officers turned them over to the FBI and United States Marshall Call of Brig-ham Brig-ham City and several deputies came to Roosevelt Tuesday to take the quartet to Salt Lake City, where they will be booked in the federal court on violation of the Dyer Act. |
