Show One-Pay Gate For State Fair Has Been Adopted The Utah State Fair, September Sept-ember 12 through September 20, has adopted a ONE-FAIR GATE policy for 1953. Admission to the grounds will include general admission to the Grandstand attractions, at-tractions, without extra tickets, according to an announcement made today by J. A. Theobald, Manager. The one-fare gate will include everthing, but the Coliseum Col-iseum show, carnival and carnival carn-ival attractions. All tickets to the Holiday on Ice of 1954, include in-clude a ticket for the outside gate, and come under the free general admission to the grandstand, grand-stand, according to Mr. Theobald. Theo-bald. For this year's Fair the greatest great-est array of grandstand entertainment enter-tainment in the history of the Intermountain West has been arranged for. Every effort is being be-ing made to provide entertain ment in front of the grandstand, from the opening of the general grounds gate at 10 o'clock each morning, until the closing each night following the Coliseum show. The morning1 shows in the Grandstand arena will include a parade of champions in all classes of livestock, with an explanation ex-planation by the judges for their decision, as well as announcement announce-ment of the winner's names. Each day's winners will be paraded pa-raded the morning following the judging. The grandstand attractions can only be classed as collossal, and will hold forth both afternoon after-noon and evening. The greatest fireworks display ever put on in Utah will close each evening performance. |
