Show , r(l(tonali Mrs. Ethel Beebe Father Injured In Car Wreck V. L. Woodard, of Salt Lake City, who is here visiting, received re-ceived word his father, Lee Woodard was taken to the Roosevelt Roos-evelt Hospital to receive treatment treat-ment for cuts and bruises received re-ceived in a car accident recently. Mrs. Minnie Maxfield accompanied accom-panied her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charley Timothy, to' their home in Bonanza Bon-anza for a week's visit. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Snyder and daughter, Jean, and Mrs. Snyder's mother, Mrs. Blanch Fletcher, of Salt Lake City, spent the weekend with Mr. Snyder's mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, and other relatives. They were also Sunday School and Sacrament meeting visitors. A large crowd of Altonah people peo-ple attended the UBIC Queen dance at Victory Park, where Florence Weeks tried out for U. B.I.C. Queen from this ward. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Atwood and son, Douglas, and daughter, Mrs. Phil Ballaz, of Fresno, California, Cal-ifornia, visited with their sister and daughter, Mrs. Ty Kolb, and family several days last week. Bill Clark and Alta Jones, 'of Salt Lake City, visited Bill's parents over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Burke, of Vernal, were over night guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe, Thursday. Mrs. Burke and Mrs. Beebe are sisters. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Riley and family attended a Tomasini family fam-ily reunion at Wolf Creek Pass Sunday. Aug. 2nd. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen and Johnny Smith made a trip to Salt Lake City, Tuesday, where Mr. Olsen received medical care. Jerry Carroll, who has been working at Hardin, Montana, came home the later part of the week to help his father put in his hay. A large crowd of Altonah people peo-ple attended the U.B.I.C. at Roosevelt on the 6, 7 and 8 of August. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Beebe transacted business in Duchesne Tuesday. Mrs. Lynn Farnsworth of Altamont accompanied them. They visited at the home of Mrs. Blaine Corbin in Duchesne, and at the home of Mrs. Hazel Farns-worth Farns-worth in Talmage. |
