Show First Fireside The first Mt. Emmons Fireside Fire-side Chat for Mt. Emmons in several years was held at the Floyd Case home Sunday, August Aug-ust 9. Keith Duke spoke to the group on "Prophecies Concerning Concern-ing the Stick of Judah and the Stick of Joseph." Curtis Dastrup, Das-trup, accompanied by Lorraine Dastrup, sang "It Is No Secret." Others present were Beth Winkler, Wink-ler, Don Evans, John Benson, Bill Egbert, George Chapman, Lois Sadler, Sheila Evans, Larry Mitchell, Peggy Ann Case and Gayle Case. The next Fireside is to be August 23 at the-home of William Evans. All young people in the ward are invited to attend. Mr. Johnny Lambert was in Salt Lake City on business last Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Jewell Kolb and family went to Salt Lake City last Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Glyn Montierj of Salt Lake City were visitors at the Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hart-mans. Hart-mans. Mr. and Mrs. Martin Hislop and sons have returned home after spending two weeks at the REA power plant while Mr. and Mrs. Dan Allen were in California for their vacation. Sunday evening Sacrament meeting of Aug. 9 had President U. B. Winkler, Beth Winkler and Mrs. Glen Ames for speakers. speak-ers. Peggy Ann Case and Gayle Case sang a duet, accompanied by Mrs. Evan Hansen. |
