Show HillAFB Seeking Information On F owner Personnel For History HILL AFB -- The Alumni Committee Com-mittee of the Hill AFB Heritage Program is compiling a list of all former base personnel, military and civilian. TO HELP preserve the history of Hill's significant contributions to national defense since the beginning begin-ning of World War II, all former Hill personnel are asked to contact the base to include them in the Heritage Program. Under the program a permanent museum and aerospace park has been approved for construction on a 36-acre site near the Roy gate. Fourteen aircraft already have been received and are being restored. res-tored. An outdoor missile plaza has been planned to display the ICBMs and smaller missiles associated with the base and many other activities acti-vities are underway. THE ALUMNI Association is being formed with the realization that there are thousands of men and women across the country whose efforts at Hill AFB should be recognized as the force which created its heritage. There are many former members of the Hill family who would like to find out what their old friends are up to now. Others have historical information, infor-mation, artifacts and memorabilia they may want to make a permanent perma-nent part of the museum. Members will automatically be enrolled in the Air Force Heritage Foundation of Utah, Inc., and the Hill AFB Historical Society and will be placed on a newsletter mailing mail-ing list.
