Show Consolidated Freightways Expands Two New Trucking Terminals Opened One of the nation's leading com-' com-' mon carrier trucking companies I has expanded its service in the : greater Salt Lake City area when Consolidated Freightways opened two new terminals in Murray and : Woods Cross. :i ANNOUNCEMENT of the new r': CF service centers was made by ;: Division Manager Wendell E. Murphy. The Woods Cross facility, man-; man-; : aged by Bruce C. Beach, is at 2561 ::S. 1560 W., Woods Cross. "The ; : service area of the Woods Cross ; facility will include that commun-- commun-- ity as well as northern Salt Lake : City, Bountiful, Farmington and Centerville," he said. BEACH, 45, comes to Woods Cross from CF's Salt Lake City terminal, where he was assistant terminal manager. He had joined the company in 1971 as a driver supervisor there, and two years later la-ter was promoted to dock foreman. In 1977 he was promoted to Freight Operations Manager, and to assistant assis-tant terminal manager in 1978. Consolidated Freightways serves the entire United States, including in-cluding Alaska and Hawaii, as well as eastern and western Canada, with 504 terminals. The company also provides direct service to Puerto Rico, and islands in the Caribbean. |
