Show BOUNTY CUPPER MAY 9, 1984 Residents Are S ought To Help Carry Baton Through The County Month. Activities at the park will begin at 5 p.m. and run through the evening. The state of Utah is sponsoring a "Life. Be in it" relay which will involve carrying a baton throughout through-out the state with the final destination destina-tion being Salt Lake City. THE BATON will pass through Davis County Saturday. June 9. This relay is designed to promote leisure activity and community involvement, in-volvement, create an awareness of the importance of being physically active and to create an opportunity for people to become involved. Participants can be individuals, families, groups or organizations. The only requirements are that participants par-ticipants must pledge a distance and describe their mode of transportation trans-portation and fill out an application form with the representative of their city.
