Show 4-H Exchange With Japan 1 Teenage boys and girls who are interested in making new international friends, learning how other people live by actually living with them, living among the traditions of another country and being an "ambassador" for Utah and the United States will want to find out more about the Utah 4-H Japanese Exchange program. ml ANY TEENAGER from Davis County who will be enrol-i enrol-i led in 4-H by February 15, 1983, is eligible to participate in. the program. Teens must be 13 years old before Jan. 1, 1983. Approximate cost for the experience is $1700. Those young people who are accepted as exchange students stu-dents will live with a host Japanese family for four weeks. They will have a chance to attend a large youth camp where many Japanese teens participate. TEENAGERS who want this experience should do some serious advance preparation for the exchange in areas like language and cultural study. There will be some helps for you. Anyone who is interested in this worthwhile and educational educa-tional program should call the County Extension Office and ask for a Utah 4-H-Japanese exchange program information infor-mation sheet and application.
