Show Open House Honor On 80th Birthday : I I : I si Is '--A I I 1 the North Davis Stake MIA Board, the Lay ton Stake Relief Re-lief Society Board, also has been president of the Layton Second Ward Relief Society and MIA. She served as Sunday Sun-day School and Relief Society organist and is currently president presi-dent of the ward choir. MRS. HILL is a member of the Layton Ladies Literary Club, the Republican Women's Club and the Hollyhock Holly-hock Camp of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She is currently current-ly captain of the DUP Hollyhock Holly-hock Camp. She is well known for her art of cooking and beautiful needlework. need-lework. She has received several sev-eral awards for her cooking and needlework at the county and state fair. MRS. VERNA KILFOYLE HILL The children of Verna Kil-: Kil-: foyle Hill are hosting an open -house in honor of their mother's 80th birthday. The event will be held at the West Layton Second Ward. 2 1 20 W. Gentile. Layton. from 3-6 p.m. on Saturday. Nov. 20. FRIENDS and relatives are invited to attend. Hosting the birthday open house are Mrs. Al (Elaine) Hansen. Salt Lake City; Mrs. Don (Donna Mae) Perkins and L. Jim Hill, both Bountiful and Ron W. Hill. Fruit Heights. Mrs. Hill has 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. MRS. HILL was horn in Kaysville. the daughter of James and Sarah Jane Nate Kilfovle. She married Leo B. Hill on Sept. 24. 1919 in the Salt Lake Temple. He died Feb. 12. 1973. Mrs. Hill has been a member of the West Layton 2nd Ward for over 63 years and has been a Relief Society teacher for over 60 vears. She served on |
