Show Recreational Events Come and celebrate Thanksgiving Thank-sgiving with us. The Recreation Recrea-tion Center will he closed on Thanksgiving Day but we will be open Friday, Nov. 26. We are offering a two for one special spe-cial for both the ice skating rink and the swimming pool. THE PUBLIC hours for the ice skating rink will be 10-12, 1-3, 4:45-6:45 and 7-9. Admission Admis-sion prices are $1.50 for adults and $ 1 .25 for students and children. chil-dren. Public hours for the swimming pool will be a holiday holi-day schedule of 1-9 p.m. Come down and use the steam room, sauna or new jaccuzi. Let us watch your children while you begin your Christmas shopping shop-ping or just relax and enjoy the holiday! Bountiful Recreation is currently cur-rently in the process of registration reg-istration for YBA. We will be holding registration through Nov. 20 at the Recreation Center. Cen-ter. Practice will begin in December De-cember and games will begin in January. Youth ages 8-14 are eligible to participate. The cost for the program is $20. OL'R NEXT session of afternoon after-noon swim lessons will begin the week of Nov. 22. Registration Registra-tion will be held the week of Nov. 15. Classes are taught for children ages 3-5, for beginners begin-ners throught swimmers (all ages) and for Boy Scout Merit Badges, swimming and life-saving. life-saving. The cost for the session ses-sion is $20 for the first child and $16 for each additional 1 child. Classes are neia on Mon.-Wed. or Tues.-Fri. afternoons between the hours of 4-6. The price for succeeding succeed-ing sessions is $16 for the first child and $14 for each additional addition-al child.- Aerobics -- Every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6-7 p.m. at Millcreek Jr. High Mary Bowen instructs an hour of aerobic exercise. The cost for the program is $20 for 10 classes. A Saturday morning class is held from 9-10 a.m. at the Bountiful Recreation Center. EARLY morning lap swim and aqua-trim. Monday through Friday at the Recreation Recrea-tion Center an early morning lap swim and aqua-trim class is offered from 5-7 a.m. Men and women are invited to participate partici-pate in the lap swim, however the aqua-trim class is for the ladies. Aqua-trim, an hour of water exercise is taught each Tuesday Tues-day and Thursday morning from 9-10 a.m. at the Recreation Recrea-tion Center. Ladies do not have to be able to swim to participate par-ticipate in this class. The class is instructed by MerLyn Pitcher Pitch-er and the cost is $ 1 .50 for each class. The program is continuous con-tinuous so you may begin anytime. any-time.
