The Cenierville South Slake is presenting an All Women's Conference to re held at the Slike Center on Friday even-"ir.gai even-"ir.gai 7:30 p.m. and Saturda 9 m. on March 1 1 and 12. ! THIS SPECIAL event will : be for women ages 12 and up 'centered around the theme, ("Peaches and Cream." i Fndav evening will feature Dr. and' Mrs. Russell M. Nel-ron.anoted Nel-ron.anoted heart surgeon w ho id heart surgery for President Kimball. He aJso senes as a Regional Representative and has served as the General President Pres-ident of the Sunday School. His wife Dantzel sings with the Iabernacle Choir. This spiritual spir-itual evening w ill set the theme for the following morning's activities. SATURDAY morning will feature noted speakers. I Richard and Linda Eyre, w ho together authored the books titled ti-tled "Teaching Children Joy" and "Teaching Children Responsibility." Re-sponsibility." They have seven children. Mrs. Eyre was Utah's 19SI Young Mother of the Year and was chosen one of six outstanding out-standing women in (he U.S. by the National Council of Women. Mr. Eyre is now serving serv-ing on the Presidential board for elementary education for President Reagan and was national na-tional chairman of the White House Conference on children and parents. WORKSHOPS will follow in a variety of fields. The title of the workshops and their leaders lead-ers are "The Author, the Plot, the Play" with Kenneth Godfrey. God-frey. "Close Encounter of the Best Kind" with Richard A women's conference sponsored by the Ccntcrville South Stake, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, will be held March II and 12 at the Stake Center, 270 N. 300 East, Centerville. Planning Plan-ning the event are front row left to right, Linda Burns, displays, El-dean El-dean Belnap, publicity; Barbara Spencer, co-chairman; Barbara Robison, co-chairman; Joan Roybal, displays. Jill Tolman, floral displays; dis-plays; Debbie Randall, floral; Joyce Arbuckle, special gifts; LouJane England, music; Sharry Tingcy, luncheon. Chidester; "Agency, Key to a Happy Existence" with Sher-rie Sher-rie Johnson; "Your Room Your World, Home your Heaven" with Pinky Harrison; Harri-son; "The Physical You" with Ann Allred, Laurel Duncan, Jewelya Spencer and Cheryl Beazer. The day will be topped off with displays for all to view and a luncheon. Tickets will be $1.50 per person and may be purchased from the ward representatives. rep-resentatives.
