Show Activities Booming At Bountiful Recreation Center Activities at the Bountiful Recreation Center are in full swing. More people are coming com-ing to swim, skate and exercise than ever before. THE FACILITY has two nights of specials every week. Monday night is family night. The entire family can swim for $4 or skate for $6 including skate rental on Mondays. Thursday night is dollar night. Anyone can swim or skate on Thursday nights for $1 (does not include skate rental). Come and join the fun. Men's winter recreation basketball just concluded with the B&L team from the college letterman league capturing first place in the tournament. O'Brien Glass took second and Mr. Macs took third. Youth basketball is still going on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday evenings. A MEETING will be held on Thursday. March 3 at 6 p.m. for a representative from all teams that played in the Bountiful Boun-tiful mens and ladies Softball leagues last year. The meeting will be in the city council chambers at city hall. Aerobic exercise classes continue on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-7 p.m. at Millcreek Junior High with Kim Hanks as the instructor. instruc-tor. The cost is $20 for 10 classes clas-ses or $3 a class. THE NEXT skating lesson registration will be this week, Feb. 28 through March 4 at the BRC. The classes begin March 7 and cost $12 per child for six one-half hour lessons. |
