Vote To Decide Fate Of NSL Proposed City Complex NORTH SALT LAKE --City --City residents will get the opportunity to vote on a proposed prop-osed city center complex to be built in the November elections. elec-tions. CITY MANAGER Collin Wood noted the fate of the cen ter will probably rest with North Salt Lake voters. The issue is planned to be on the November ballot. The project, if approved, will expand the existing city building, and will provide separate facilities for police and fire departments. Mr. Wood also explained the city maintenance shops will be improved im-proved and expanded. THE CITY plans to purchase purch-ase a restaurant located at the intersection east of the existing city building. The ground on which the restaurant is located would be used for the city center. A park area is planned to surround the city complex, according to Mr. Wood. The park area would contribute to the overall esthetic affect of the complex. NEGOTIATIONS are pro-ceding pro-ceding concerning the purchase purch-ase of the L.E. Meyers building build-ing by a Salt Lake City construction con-struction firm. The city council approve letter of inducement for Staker Paving and Constr tion company to purchasi $1.5 million bond to purck and renovate the building. 1 letter only means the city di not oppose bonding and has affect on whether the bone approved. THE CITY will begin tat measures to prevent off a vehicle use of the foothilisei of the city. The council not that residents in the area ha complained about noise p duced by the vehicles.
