Show ORDINANCE NO. 75-9 BOUNTIFUL, a Municipal Corporation AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AMEND-ING TITLE X, CHAPTER 18, OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OR-DINANCES OF BOUNTIFUL, UTAH, 1965, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION SEC-TION DESIGNATED AS SECTION 37, BY MAKING IT UNLAWFUL FOR FAILURE TO DISPERSE AT THE ORDER OF A PEACE OF: FICER AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR-DINANCES AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF BOUNTIFUL, BOUN-TIFUL, UTAH: Section 1. That Title X, Chapter 18, of the Revised Ordinances of Bountiful, Utah, 1965, as amended, are hereby amended by adding a new section designated as Section 37, to read as follows: Section 37. FAILURE TO DISPERSE. (1) A person is guilty of failure to disperse, when he remains at the scene of a riot, disorderly conduct, or an unlawful assembly after having been ordered to disperse by a peace officer. of-ficer. (2) This section shall not apply ap-ply to a person who attempted at-tempted to, but was unable to leave the scene of the riot or unlawful assembly. (3) Failure to disperse is a Class C misdemeanor and is punishable by a fine in any sum not exceeding $299.00 or by imprisonment imprison-ment in the city or county jail for a period not longer than 90 days or by both such fine and imprisonment. imprison-ment.
