Those honored were: kindergarten, Mrs. O'Brien, Kathy Schulthies, daughter of the Byron Schulthies, Mrs. Ras-mussen, Ras-mussen, Chris Montgomery, son of the Clarence Mont-gomerys, Mont-gomerys, Mrs. Schick, Mathew Pack, son of the Steven Packs. FIRST GRADE, Mrs. Jenkins, Travis Holbook, son of the Greg Holbrooks, Mrs. Tribole, Tina Salmon, daughter of the Eugene Salmons; Sal-mons; first-second, Mrs. Goodsell, Melinda Pymm, daughter of the Howard Pymms; second grade, Mrs. McCallister, Mamie Davis, daughter of the Keith Davises, Mrs. Thornley, Lars Summerhays, son of the Michael Summerhays. Third grade, Mrs. Jacob-son, Jacob-son, Dianna Kilpack, daughter of the Jerry Kil-packs, Kil-packs, Mrs. Wahlquist, David Kremer, son of the Eugene Kremers; third-fourth, Mrs. Vlam, Sam Neumeier, son of the James Neumeirs; fourth grade, Mrs. Christian, Brian Sorenson, son of the Roger Sorensens, Mrs. Kirkland, Buddy Schiffman, son of the Neil Schiffmans. FIFTH grade, Mr. Stevens, Kelli McKnight, child of the Karl McKnights, Mr. Van Dyke, Tracy Clegg, son of the Dell Cleggs; sixth grade, Mr. Beckstead, Kristin Carroll, daughter of the Kerry Carrolls, and Mr. Nielsen, Christine Johnson, daughter of the Bobby Walkers. The end of the school also brought a special PTA Thank-You social held last Friday. Certificates were presented by Brenda Johnson to the many mothers and officers, of-ficers, and teachers, who had aided the PTA program during dur-ing the year. A short program and light refreshments were served. BEFORE THE awarding of the certificates of merit to the mothers and officers and teachers, South Davis PTA president, Ludean Eames, presented an award for the history book, a blue ribbon for the project book on Operation Snow Ball.
