Show Local People To Dance At Saltair Alpine stake will be represented in the Church dance festival at Salt Air, June 12, by 12 couples.. These young people danced at the Gold and Green ball of the stake and will participate in those same numbers, The Americana Waltz, and To Our Colors, fox trot. They will also, with five other stakes, demonstrate the Waltz Quadrille in special costume. cos-tume. Those participating are Irene Jones, Lydia Olsen, Helen ' Hicks, Edith Walker, Merma Grant, Virginia Vir-ginia Shelley, Donna Lue Davis, Madoline Robinson, Maxine Moyle, Helen SVnith, Lois Greenwood, Earl Kelly, Wendell Kirkpatrick, Eldon Hansen, Arthur Gordon, Winn Carlisle, Car-lisle, Glen Haslem, Harry Barratt, Nash Healey, Victor Bowen, Max ; Groesbeck, Harold Pratt, Phil Jensen Jen-sen and Mac Cunningham. Mrs. Dessie Wilde and Gilbert Shumway are the stake dance directors in charge of the teaching of the dances. Mrs. West Hammond of the stake music department is preparing a group of singers who will participate in the music festival Saturday, June 13, at which time 1500 young men and women will gather in the tabernacle taber-nacle in Salt Lake City.
