Show Local Items- MLss Marcla Anderson of Spanish Span-ish Fork spent Decoration day visiting vis-iting with Miss Maxine Taylor. ' Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Jones of Long Beach, Calif., were week-end visi-tars visi-tars at the home of Mrs. Jones' sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Earl Carlisle and family. Mr. and Mrs. Rex Taylor and family motored to Levan and spent Decoration day at the home of Mr. Taylor's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Taylor. Leah, Hazel and Myrle Brown of Ogden are visiting with relatives and friends in this city. Miss Evelyn Peck Is attending a special course on 4-H work being given this week at the Agricultural college at Logan. Among other things, the course is a guide for 4-H leadership work. Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hutching and daughter, Beverly, and Miss Bertha Moyle of Salt Lake City, were visitors Decoration Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Hutching of this city. Miss Helen Tuttle spent Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week in American Fork, the guest of Miss Maxine Taylor. Miss Tuttle is a former resident of this city and is moving with her parents to Kanab from Logan, where they will make 1 their home. Mrs. Clarence Little and three children of Morgan are visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hunter. Mr. Bird and the band members are working on Summer Concert material and will be ready to start weekly concerts about the middle of this month. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil RnTTennnn f Hiawatha were viisitors Saturday and Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. William Miller. Mrs. Harold Colestead of Comp-ton, Comp-ton, Calif., is visiting this week with her mother, Mrs. Isaac Healey of Alpine, and two sisters, Mrs. Bell Adamson and Mrs. Ellis Terry of this city. |
