Wesley Wallis, California, and a number of local riders who like the sport. Two hundred and fifty dollars in prizes will be awarded to riders and ropers during the afternoon. At 5:00 P. M. the spectacular high dive will be featured at the concession conces-sion grounds where there will be numerous devices to entertain old and young. 6:00 P. M. Musical Program Continuous Band Concerts in City Park. 7:00 P. M. The Miniature Parade will be repeated. It will include all of the floats of the morning parade and will cover the same line of march. At 9:00 P. M. there will be two dances, one at the High School Gym and one at Pleasant Grove's new out-of-doors dancing pavillion, "Strawberry Gardens." This new dancing hall has 14,000 feet of dancing danc-ing floor, sufficient to accommodate the huge crowd that usually attends this yearly celebration. A complete sound equipment will be installed so that the music from Byron Dastrups Orchestra will be heard throughout the carnival grounds and the City Park. The drawing for the Free Ford til 12 midnight. At 12 M. the State Hatchery Association Asso-ciation will hold a meeting in the High School Auditorium. A H. Demke of the International Chick Association will be present. The public is invited to attend. 12 M. Luncheon. 2:00 P. M. The Rodeo grounds has been put in fine shape to take care of Jeck Dew's rodeo stock. The same rodeo stock, featured at the Las Vegas Heldorado Celebration Will be featured here. There will be thirty head of grain feed bucking horses for cowboy contestants; eleven elev-en long horn Mexican steers for the bulldoggers and eleven purebred Bramhma steers to try the pluckiest riders. These purebred Brahamas, can be counted upon for a show that is not on the schedule. In a recent rodeo event one steer ran across thte grounds, jumped into a swirnming pool, crossed several lawns, jumped several fences and was finally roped by cowboys on the State highway. Another great attraction of the rodeo will be Pinky Gist, world's champion cowboy clown, and his two trained mules, Mickey and Freckles. Pinky is much more than an entertainer, enter-tainer, he has held the- world's championship in bulldogging, , calf roping, and won the bronze medal at Pendleton, Oregon, in 1926 and 1927. He employs his skill in all of these events in his clowning and with Mickey and Freckles, guarantees an afternoon's fun. Harry Williams, who was arena secretary at the Ogden Pioneer Days celebration last July, will be arena secretary on Strawberry Day.. Among the prominent riders expected ex-pected to be present is Harry Hart, Pocatello, Idaho, who won the second sec-ond place in calf roping at Madison Square Garden, last fall; Bill and Lee Edmo of Fort Hall, Idaho; Floyd Stillings, Cody, Wyoming; Dave Campbell, California; Oral Zumwalt and Rufus Ingersall, Mon-Jtana; Mon-Jtana; Hugh Ridley, Oklahoma; car will take place at Strawberry Gardens at intermission. The person per-son must be present who holds the lucky number. There will also be other secondary prizes in the drawing. draw-ing.
