Show -u i Alpine News Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hall and - dr.ughter of Kansas visited the forepart fore-part of the week with their sisters, Mrs. Claud Strong and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Watkins. For .the second time ir. the last three weeks our community has been shocked by the sudden death of cur- citizens. Claud Strong passed awav Tuesdav morning about 11:30 in the office of Dr. K. E. Noyes, where he had gone seeking medical aid for the pain which he was stricken with. Death was due to a heart attack. Claud Chester Strong, son of the late Don C. Strong and Eliza.Car-lisle Eliza.Car-lisle Strong, was born in Alpine, Utah, February 2, 1893. He has lived -all of his life in our little city, attending the school and church organizations. On November 26, 1913, he was married to Mildred Hall and nine children have been born to them, five boys and four girls, all of whom survive. They are Lloyd. Marion, Ray, Douglas, Ted H., Beu-la, Beu-la, Nona, Lillian and Loydece. He is also survived by three brothers, Don C. Strong and Mark Strong of Salt Lake City, and Clement Strong of Alpine; four sisters, Mrs. Hattie McDaniel of Alpine, Mrs. Julia Little of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Hilda Conder of Holmstead, and Mrs. Bessie Bes-sie Bair of Woods Cross and a host of other relatives. Funeral arrangements await the arrival of his son, Lloyd, who is employed in California. |
