Atoine City Building To Go Forward Alpine's new city building will be -completed. The request for an. injunction in-junction against Mayor John A Whitby and the city council continuing con-tinuing with the erectiion of this partly built structure was denied by Judge A. B. Turner of the Fourth District court, and the progressive city officials were permitted to continue con-tinue with the erection of this much needed structure. The building now used is a one room rock building erected in 1863. The new one consists of offices, committee rooms, fire station, jail and library with all the modern improvements, im-provements, erected at the ccst of $15,000.00. The government is furnishing furn-ishing all the labor and a portion of I the material. The construction brings employment employ-ment to Alpine citizens and a much needed building to the city.
