Miss Faye Clark and the Misses Doris and Ruthe Forbes attended a party in honor of Miss Alice Clark Wednesday evening, at the home of Mrs. H. A. Sorenson. Miss Clark, who has been employed by Mrs. Sorenson, Sor-enson, is leaving to take up employment em-ployment at the Lion House social center. Miss Erma Smith left recently for the Bee-hive house in Salt Lake City, where she will be employed. Many former residents of Alpine visited the cemetery here Memorial day and left their tributes of love on the graves of relatives and friends. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Bateman and children of Salt Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Jacobs and children of Springville, and Mrs. Lester Ford of Cedar City spent Decoration day with their father. Joseph T. Bateman, Bate-man, and other relatives. Mrs. James C. Healey pperit the past two weeks visiting with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ferron Sager, at Payson.
