Show 'Of Mice and Men'-and Men'-and the P.C Museum , On Oct. 25, Park City residents will have an opportunity to attend Park City Performances' production "Of Mice and Men" while at the same time helping the Park City Museum. The performance will be preceded by a buffet, and theater-goers' $15 donation will be contributed to the museum, said new museum director David Hampshire. He said the goal of the event is as much to get people involved with the museum as it is to raise money. Along with organizing the fall fundraiser, Hampshire said the museum board has been busy planning plann-ing a new exhibit to be unveiled next ' epringj , Pat iSmith, one of ; the museum's founders, has been contracted con-tracted to assemble a display on the history of skiing, he said. It will replace the current miner's kitchen display, he added. Hampshire left Park City Sunday to attend a museum conference in Oakland, Calif. The one-week conference con-ference will include workshops on setting up exhibits and making them meaningful to the public, he said. "I feel as though I am finally getting get-ting my feet on the ground and I think this seminar will give me a good context for my work here," he said of his job.
