Show Women golfers elect officers The Park City Women's Golf Association held a "scramble" tournament, elected new officers and held an awards luncheon to close the 1985 season of play Sept. 24. Lauri Murley, Petey Ringwood, Carol Child and Margaret Fox combined to shoot a gross score of 79 to win the tournament. Alice Williams was elected president and Betty Snyder vice president. The new secretary is Child and Francine Valline is the new treasurer. Jamu. raters won the club championship award for her performance in a two-day toui .?nent earlier this summer. Childs was selected as the most improved im-proved golfer because her handicap dropped 17 strokes during the season. Reno and Peters were noted as the only two golfers to break 90 in the nine-hole nine-hole group and Kathy Kahn was the only golfer to break 50. In the 18-hole group, Carol Shackleford, Sari Brennan and Valline were honored for breaking break-ing 100. |
