Show Tirnvnsa TTegtt Last quiz was a Butz...er, bust Before James Watt, there was Earl Butz, who was booted out of office for racially insensitive remarks. Perhaps we should forget such disgraceful stuff. And apparently all of you did. No one answered last week's Trivia Quiz, and a free sandwich from the Main Street Deli went unclaimed. Secretary Butz left office after he joked that blacks wanted loose shoes, good sex and a warm place to go to the bathroom. (We haven't reproduced the secretary's colorful words here exactly. This is a family newspaper ! ) . We also asked what caused the horses to whinny whin-ny in fright in "Young Frankenstein." (It was the mere mention of "Frau Blucher," the character played by Cloris Leachman.) Finally, no one told us that KUTV-2 was the TV station that closely followed the Prospector tailings story. By the way, did you know that we're the Official Of-ficial Trivia Contest of the 1984 Winter Olympics? Olym-pics? You won't want to miss your moment of Olympic glory. Answer the questions below, then come to our offices at 419 Main or call the Park Record at 649-9014 before Tuesday noon. 1. What nickname did Laura Ingalls' father give her in "Little House on the Prairie"? 3. What building received a centennial plaque last week? |
