Show Ski report Park City Ski Area Wednesday morning the Park City Ski Area reported the gondola and 11 chairlifts open for business. All five bowls and 68 trails were open. There was no new snow on the base of 87 inches. ParkWest Park West had all of its 40 runs open, serviced by seven chairs. A trace of new snow fell overnight on top of a 75-inch base depth. Deer Valley Deer Valley had all of its trails open, along with six chairs. The resort's base depth was 52 inches. Forecast The National Weather Service said at long last a trough will be moving through the area late Thursday Thurs-day night. That should have enough punch to break up the high pressure which has worn out its welcome over the past weeks. Snow showers should begin Thursday night and continue through Friday, becoming more scattered over the weekend. Temperatures will be normal, with highs in the lower 30s and lows in the mid-teens. |
