Fortunately the local entertainment scene will help to pass the time and keep everyone's -spirits up. Here is what's in store this weekend. The Alamo Saloon Connie and the Rhythm Method are scheduled to rock and roll at the Alamo Saloon through Saturday night. Joe E. Boots and a new set of Heels will take over Sunday and Monday adding a bluesy beat to the standard R&R fare. The Cindy Farr band will come in with a jazzy dimension Tuesday and Wednesday. The Black Pearl The band Roots will be finishing up its gig at the Black Pearl through Saturday. Sa-turday. Next Tuesday the Primo Artistas will arrive for a five-night run. This band specializes in Latin jazz and includes several former members of the Seattle Rhythm Band. The Cowboy Bar The country rock band Sagebrush is still holding down the fort at the Cowboy Bar Tuesdays through Saturdays. Southern Comfort Com-fort will fill in on Sunday and Monday night. Deer Valley Joe Muscolino and his big band bring the swing era back to life at the Snow Park Lodge every Wednesday evening,rqm 8:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.n t Down Under Patrons of the Down Under can count on Kat James to provide a comforting comfort-ing set of folk and original tunes Wednesdays through Saturdays. Grub Steak Kurt D. is on the schedule to provide easy listening music at the Grub Steak Restaurant Wednesday through Sunday. Gilt Edge Crepes and classical music are the menu at the Gilt Edge. Bob Weisenfeld plays every Friday and Saturday afternoon from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Rusty Nail The folk duo Randy Heyborne and Charlie B. will entertain the apres ski crowd at the Rusty Nail this Friday and Saturday from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday in the same time slot Andy Monaco will offer his special blend of music and humor. Sneakers Don Gomes will share an eclectic set of oldies, Broadway tunes and folk songs with the Sneakers crowd on Friday and Saturday. Stein Eriksen Lodge Pianist Jeremy Sim-monds Sim-monds will entertain the apres ski crowd at Stein Eriksen Lodge from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. Phil Bubel fills in on Monday and Tuesday. Classical guitarist Bob Weisenfeld provides the evening entertainment at the Troll Hallen Lounge Wednesday through Sunday Sun-day and Diane Phillips steps in on Monday and Tuesday evenings. |
