Show Hospital plans to be discussed Today at 2 p.m. in Coalville, Holy Cross Hospital will anounce the formation of a citizens committee, made up of area residents, to aid in the planning of a new hospital proposed for Kimball Junction, according to Dr. Robert Winn. Winn, who is the chairman of the Summit County Health Board and practices out of Holy Cross's Family Health and Emergency Center in Park City, said the 10-member committee will advise Holy Cross officials as to the health care needs of the community at large. Those proposals will be included in Holy Cross's hospital plan, he said. According to a release from the Holy Cross Salt Lake City offices, the Coalville press conference is being held to describe the hospital's "intention to expand its role as a major provider of health care services to Summit County." |
