Show Donation bails out program for handicapped kids The Park City Men's Coalition, a non-profit charitible men's group, recently donated funds to keep the Mountainlands Developmental Disabilities service in business for the month of June. Barbara Dyer, coordinator coor-dinator for the service, had voiced concern that her program would have to close for the month due to the lack of funds. The program is funded by the Utah State Department of Social Services, Ser-vices, but is not scheduled for any additional funds until July. Dyer said her program supplies both physical and social therapy for handicapped handicap-ped infants and preschool children throughout Summit and Wasatch counties. Those desiring more information on this program should contact con-tact Barbara Dyer at 649-9881 649-9881 or 649-4202. The Men's Coalition has also recently donated funds to the Park City Library Fund, the Special Olympics and the recent Christmas "help for the needy" sponsored spon-sored by St. Mary's Church. |
