Show ' Park City Area rjti ujipdattie Chamber of CommerceConvention and Visitors Bureau Convention attracts 100 Chamber ambassadors Things are happening in our little town. Last weekend the Chambers Cham-bers of Commerce from bordering bor-dering states sent their ambassador am-bassador groups to Park City to share ideas on making public relations more effective. The Park City Prospectors were delighted to host the convention conven-tion and were pleased with the nearly 100 participants from Jackson Hole, Boise, Ogden and Salt Lake. The compliments were flowing about everything from the organized activities to the shops and drinking establishments. A once-in-a-lifetime event will occur June 28 when Olympic torch will pass through Park City between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. There will be national and local media coverage, and major sponsors for the three runners: Special Olympian Charlie Newsome, past Olympian Jack Reddish, and Jim Murphy, the director of the Utah Special Olympics. The ChamberBureau is proud to announce several new members: The Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Actors Ensemble (just in time for the Shakespeare Festival), Republic Airlines, Balloon the Rockies, Terstep Company, Com-pany, Inc. (a property management company), and Mountain Fuel Supply. |
