Show Olympic flame The 1984 Summer Olympic Games, to be held in Los Angeles, are just around the corner. But even if you can't make it to L.A. you can still catch a glimpse of the Olympic flame right here in Park City. The Olympic torch, the symbol of the games, will be passing through our town on June 28 between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. The flame is being run from Greece to Los Angeles in . commemoration of the games' origin. Carrying the torch through the Park City area will be Special Olympian Charlie Newsom, past Olympian Jack Reddish and Jim Murphy, the director of the Utah Special Olympics. |
