This rockin' blues guitarist vocalist is guaranteed to knock your socks off. The "Master of the Tele-caster," Tele-caster," Collins performs with the attack and power of any of his contemporaries. Eric Clapton, Albert and B.B. King, John Lee Hooker all take notice when Albert Collins lets 'er buck. Although not in the limelight lime-light of today's popular scene, Collins has acquired many impressive credits to his name over the years. His dynamic, impeccable style earned him Montreaux's "Best Blues Album" award in 1979, Village Voice's "Best Blues Record" for his "Frostbite" release in 1980. The Memphis Blues Foundation Founda-tion awarded him Contemporary Contemp-orary Male Blues Artist of the year in 1980 and 1981.
