Show I I 'Project Uplift' seeks servicemen's names Current names and addresses ad-dresses of men and women serving in the United States amed forces anywhere in the world are being sought for the annual Project Uplift by the ASBYU Community Services Ser-vices office at Brigham Young University. Janey Treadwell of Her-miston, Her-miston, Ore., program director direc-tor for Project Uplift and a sophomore in medical technology, said the deadline for the information is Oct. 23. "BYU students have a longstanding tradition of sending one-pound packages of cookies, candy or dried fruit as special Christmas gifts," Treadwell said. "These small gifts are sent in appreciation of the sacrifices by those who serve... ser-ve... throughout the world."
