Frank Tohon of Beaver will be recommended by the nominating committee of the low. er house caucus this inorniue for the speakership of the house of representatives repre-sentatives of the state legislature. To Weber county the committee has assigned as-signed the position of chief clerk of the house and to Cache county the position of sergeant at arms. Others positions in the lower house have been distributed among the various coun ties. The caucus of the house bepan yea, terday afternoon in response to a call issued by Mr. Tolton on the authority of the general Democratic meeting last month. Of the forty six members of the lower house thirty-eight were in attendance, and practicallv every county in the state was represented The appointment of a nominating committee and a rules committee was about the only action taken by the caucus. Salt Lake and Weber particularly, insisted on having more than one representative representa-tive on the nominating committee, but they lost the ballot and the seven committeemen were selected from at many counties The nominating committee is composed com-posed of Mrs. H.
